Shaft stiff or flex?

I have the old Hogan magium fairway woods with stiff shaft. I have all the newer drivers that I have been told have a flexabe shaft. I hit my 3 wood about 200 yards with a little fade. But my drive sometimes only hit it around 210-230 with more of a fade and even a slice sometimes. Should I get a new driver with a stiffer shaft. I also hit my fairway woods very consistance compared to my driver.
