It Don't Mean a Thing if it Aint Got That Ping

Ping Irons are ideal for beginners and high handicap golfers, as they are more lofted, creating more consistent shot making. When describing the G10 iron, which received 5 stars (out of a possible 5!) in the Demand category, the judges acknowledged Ping as "a master at offering fitting and set-make-up options galore. Ping golf clubs remain amongst the top manufacturers after 50 years.

Ping G10 iron

The 17-4 Stainless Steel G10 Ping Irons are engineered with extreme low toe weighting to increase the moment of inertia for added forgiveness and consistency. The large, perimeter-weighted head features a new cavity shape and wider sole. The center of gravity is positioned away from the face and low in the club head to promote higher launching, lower spinning shots. By creating a new shape for the Custom Tuning Port (CTP), Ping engineers stabilized the hitting area to produce consistent ball velocity across the entire club face. An elastomer CTP insert helps control vibration for a solid feel.

Ping Rapture V2 iron

The Ping Rapture V2 irons rely on multi-metal technology to launch the ball longer, higher and with more accuracy. The Rapture V2 irons are more forgiving than the G10's. A dense tungsten sole weight positions the center of gravity low and away from the face to optimize the launch conditions. An innovation made possible by the lightweight titanium face that frees weight for where it’s needed most—low and on the perimeter. Golfers can generate greater distance without sacrificing control. The Custom Tuning Port stabilizes the titanium face to help ensure a solid feel and consistency.

Ping i10 iron

The i10 Ping irons are designed to appeal to golfers who prefer the look of a smaller, blade-style club but still rely on the forgiveness of a cavity back. Its compact head features blade-like offset and a thin top rail to give it a players’ iron look. A narrow, cambered sole ensures performance and playability for golfers who place a high priority on shot control and the new cavity design is engineered to provide consistent performance and a solid feel across the club face. The i10 is not as forgiving so will suit a lower handicapper, so try before you buy.

Ping S57 iron

The S57 Ping irons are a tour-inspired design aimed to deliver an optimal performance club. The S57 iron's head is made of stainless steel and the machined face and grooves provide a consistent performance across the whole hitting area, while the incorporation of a tungsten toe weight and dual vertical stabilizing bars give an ideal combination of distance control, forgiveness and feel. The head of the Ping S57 has a brushed silver chrome finish to complement the player's-size head. The only reservation with this club is that club head is on the small size, resulting in a smaller 'sweet spot'

Ping Rhapsody iron

The Ping Rhapsody irons extreme perimeter and wider soles result in higher launching more accurate shots. The shape and thickness of the Custom Turning Point (CTP) stabilizes the face and therefore offers maximum forgiveness. The stainless steel irons deliver consistent results from every club in your bag.

Ping G5 iron

Ping are renowned for making forgiving clubs and the Ping G5 irons are no acception. A deeper, parallel cavity G5 design widens the sole and expands the perimeter weighting to make the G5 the most forgiving Ping iron to date. The larger head, cavity design and sole width provide higher launching, more consistent shots. With its lower center of gravity (CG) positioned lower and further from the face, for higher launching, more accurate shots.

All in all Ping golf clubs, offer maximum forgiveness and feel for all standards of golfers, over the past 50 years Ping irons have remained at the forefront of golfing technology, and will continue on far into the future.
