Golf Clubs
by: Joe Krarup MD passion-for-golf.com

Hi Ronald,

These cubs are fine to get started, I started with a mix match of clubs from the bargain buckets at a local driving range.

Ben Hogan irons are good, and Spalding woods are OK, is the Otey Crisman club a putter? Otey Crisman clubs are vintage clubs, the ones I've seen are mainly putters.

The main thing is you're getting started, I would recommend any beginner to start with a cheap set of clubs, second hand ones if needs be.

Investing in expensive clubs from the start could be a waste of money unless you get them custom fitted by a pro, and then have some lessons with them.

Top tip, when you do start to think of upgrading to expensive clubs, most retailers will let you trial a demo club before buying.

But for now, the mixed set you have will do you just fine to get started.

Best wishes,
Have fun,
Joe Krarup.
