Golf Clothing
Look your Best and Beat the Rest
Smart golf clothing can set you apart from the
competition.
If you look good, you feel good, and therefore perform better. Some of
the pros have even made a fashion out of clothing, like Ian
Poulter for instance. He is a great player and also looks
great on the tour. The late Payne Stewart
who won three majors (US Open twice and the PGA Championships) was
renowned for he's funky clothing, and was reputed to have the biggest
wardrobe on the tour, with he's Tam O'shanter caps, and patterned
trousers, which were a cross between plus fours and knickerbockers. Tiger
Woods wears he's customary red top on the last day of a major.
Feeling good when your out on the course will improve
your game, particularly when playing in the wet. Always invest in
decent golf rain gear. There is nothing worse than
being caught out on the course, dripping wet through. A decent set of golf
rain gear wins every time. In addition golf accessories like
umbrella's, mitten's, towels, all help to keep you dry.
When choosing golf
shoes,
make sure they are comfortable and don't rub. Trust me, I had a pair of
golf shoes that cut into the back of my heel by the time I was on the
9th tee. Great front 9, terrible back 9. I soon got rid of those and
invested in a nice pair of Footjoy's. Footjoy are
the number
one choice for the pros, although great shoes can be had from Adidas,
Nike and others. The moral of the story is don't skimp on golf
shoes.
Another great item of clothing for all stylish, and
practical golfers would be golf
sunglasses.
These are a must have and are worn by all the top pros now days, male
and female. Golf sunglasses are a great fashion accessory, and very
practical out on the golf course.
Whether your choosing men's or women's golf clothing,
the same applies. Be sure to look your best so you
can beat the rest.
