I have to tell you mine's not going too well this month. I'm trying to get to the course as often as I can and although the weather is pretty good for the time of year because of the short days I've only played 2 rounds this month and not played to well. Not to worry though, I am able to practice at home with the various golf training aids I have, such as my putting matt and David Leadbetter Swing Setter. I'm looking forward to the spring and I intend to embark on a new distance training program called The Golf Swing Speed Challenge in order to get an even faster club head speed for more distance. I'll keep you updated on my progress and write a full review when I'm done. I shall be reviewing lots more golf lessons online as we progress through the season so be sure to stay tuned to my site for more golf instruction recommendations. Keep hitting the short stuff, Joe. Jan 2, 2012 Practice, Practice, PracticeHappy New Year to all you passionate golfers. So what's your New Years resolution? Lose weight? Take more excercise? How about practice more on my golf! Lets face it if you really want to improve your golf and lower your handicap resulting in much more enjoyment out of your game then you need to practice. Did you know that the average professional golfer hits around a 1000 golf balls every day! That's not forgeting chipping and putting. In a recent blog post I mentioned about working on the weakest parts of your game by tracking your scores so you can see how often you 3 putt etc. so you can work on that part of your game. Well now I'm pleased to tell you that my good friend Eric Jones (world long drive champion and PGA coach) has just released a book on Amazon entitled 'How To Practice Your Golf Swing Like The Pros'. I've just got my copy and when I'm through I shall write a review on this site. My New Years resolution was to practice more in order to reach my goal of single figures. Now thanks to Eric Jones I can practice my golf swing like the pros! If you already practice regularly then this book will help you practice in a more structured way to get quicker results. Those of you who don't practice or go to the range say once every other month or so to 'fix' a swing fault, then I urge you to practice, practice, practice. This book will help you do just that and get results fast! Until my next blog post. Happy New Year and keep hitting the short stuff. Joe.

Best wishes, Joe Krarup Founder www.passion-for-golf.com Dec 18, 2011 My Journey To Single FiguresHi everyone and welcome to my passion for golf blog where I shall be updating my progress (or lack of) for my goal to get down to a single figure handicap. Well I had a decent round this weekend bearing in mind we where playing in frosty conditions where the temperature bearly got above freezing! I came third in our stableford swindle with 32 points (one point of the winners scores) so just dropped 4 shots against my handicap of 16. I'm driving the ball really well thanks to Eric Jones 5 Keys To Distance program. But I could have done better and have started to realise where I am losing shots, for instance I three putted the 17th. I think it's really important to see where your losing shots so you can practice on the weakest parts of your game, like chipping or putting. I've just discovered a great golf intelligence software program which allows you to track every single round you play. I'm now using this golf intelligence program to track my scores so I can evaluate my strengths and weaknesses so I can strengthen the weaker parts of my game. The cost for this amazing piece of software is only $9.97 less than the price of a couple of beers! And you can download it immediately to your hardrive and start tracking your scores and your handicap right away! It's already having a dramatic effect on my game, and I'm sure it will help me in my goal to get down to a single figure handicap. To find out more about this amazing piece of software go now to Golf Intel Performance Software Stay tuned to my blog for more updates on my journey to single figures. Joe Krarup.
